Clarksdale goes all out for the award-winning film set in the Delta.

Clarksdale Culture Capital, Yarbrourgh’s grassroots campaign, collected thousands of signatures and brought Sinner’s to Clarksdale.

The result: screenings with the minds behind the magic—Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, breakout star Miles Caton, and composer Ludwig Göransson. But they didn’t stop there.

They turned it into a weekend-long celebration of the Delta. What started as one resident’s vision became a nationally-recognized example of what gumption can do—mobilize a community, elevate local pride, and unearth real investment opportunities for the Delta.
